As a former football and rugby player, I have always had a passion for self-improvement and competition. I found triathlon shortly after completing my college football days as an offensive lineman. At first, I used running and triathlon simply as a way to lose weight, but the lifestyle sucked me in quickly.
I find it just as interesting to explore the mental battles we take on as athletes that come naturally with the physical improvement. I love exploring the mind/body relationship with each other thru a personal goal.I am a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the endurance coaching world and there isn't much that I am not willing to take on for an athlete. I have built my way up from sprint triathlons and 5ks to Ironman races and 100mile trail runs. In 2017, I fulfilled my long term goal of qualifying and racing at Kona, and in 2019 I qualified for the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc.
I am based in Boston, quick with a joke, and known to make good times great. I am also an avid skier and aspiring writer.
