My athletic career began in the 7th grade when I fell in love with the running and competition. After high school, I went on to run Division 1 track and cross country for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While at Umass, I set a record that lasted for 19 years. After College, I moved to Boston to pursue a Master’s of Science Degree from Northeastern University. I continued to race with the Boston Athletic Association up to 2000.
In 2001, I began my 11 year journey as a Professional Triathlete. Over the course of my career, I’ve raced with World Champions and Olympians and have been under the tutelage of some of the best triathlon and running coaches in the world. My career highlights include a top U.S. finish and 8th place overall at the Ironman World Championships, several 70.3 titles, 2x U.S. Ironman National Championship titles, 1x70.3 National Championship title, and a combined 10 Ironman podium finishes.
I co-own OnTrack Health and Fitness where I have been coaching triathletes and runners for 18 years. For the past 5 years, I have been coaching the South Burlington Girls cross country team. In 2018, I was selected as the first Head Women’s Triathlon Coach at Northern Vermont University. In just our first year of competition, we won our regional championship and qualified for the NCAA triathlon National Championships.
I combine my extensive knowledge in exercise physiology with my personal experiences to provide successful training programs for my athletes. My goal is to provide inspiration and guidance to help others achieve something greater than they’ve ever imagined.
